Sant Julià - Espui 11th century

Espui clings to the mountain of Mare de Déu de Fa. It’s a compact village with narrow alleyways and the main square with the Romanesque church of Sant Julià, 11th century.

From Espui the path goes up to the viewpoint of the Mare de Déu de Fa, and from there you can reach the lake of Filià and reach Capdella.

Sant Martí

It’s a small rectangular building  with a semicircular Lombard apse under a frieze and with a double-sealed window. The cover of the nave and the apse are made with slabs. The access door is on the western façade, a double arch in degradation and covered by a small cornice of flat slabs. An old door, now covered, was opened in the North wall. It was possibly part of an unfinished or disappeared building, and what remains today was the basis of a Romanesque bell tower.

Santa Maria

The first mentions of Obeix are from the year 1380, when it appears as already a part of the barony of Bellera. The church was extensively reformed between the 17th and 18th centuries. A chapel was built on the south wall and the nave and apse were overrun. The apse is decorated with a frieze of Lombard blind arches, covered with several layers of plaster. In the apsidal space a modern window appears. The gateway opens up on the southern wall, formed by a simple semi-circular arch.
